Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. On arrival assistance with traditional garlanding and transfer to Hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, a full day local city tour in Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Chandi Chowk, Red Fort (closed on Monday), Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra - 200 kms / 4 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive to Agra en-route visit Sikandra, arrival in Agra. Later after check-in the hotel, visit the world-famous beautiful Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Taj Mahal was built in 20 years and over 20,000 workers had worked in constructing it. Later visit the Agra Fort, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Overnight in the hotel at Agra.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur - 245 kms / 5 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for the Pink City Jaipur, (The whole city was painted pink when the Prince of Wales, Edward VII, visited Jaipur in 1876), en-route visit Emperor Akbar deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, an almost perfectly preserved 400-Year-old Mughal capital. Later visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and lunch can have there. Arrival at Jaipur, evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur
After breakfast, full day leave out for the sightseeing, starting from Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur visits Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight stay in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 06 : Jaipur - Delhi - 260 kms / 5/6 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Delhi. Evening at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 07: Delhi - Leh ( By Flight )
Morning Pick up from the hotel and drop at airport for the connection to Leh (11800 ft height). Arrival at t Kushok Bakula Airport of Leh and transfer to the hotel. Later full day rest and evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Leh.
Day 08: Leh
After breakfast, a full day local city tour covering Sankar Gompa, King's Palace and local market. Later in the afternoon visit Spituk and Phyang Gompas. Later come back and overnight in the hotel.
Day 09: Leh - Likir - Alchi
After breakfast, leave out from the hotel for an excursion tour of Alchi Monastery 68 km from Leh, later visit Likir Monastery and come back to Leh. Overnight in the hotel at Leh.
Day 10: Leh - Pangong Lake - 140 kms / 6 hrs drive
This morning early wake up call and a full-day excursion to Pangong Lake is one of the beautiful and amazing Lakes in this region. Later come back to the hotel and overnight in the hotel at Leh.
Day 11: Leh
After early morning breakfast, leave for the sight-seeing of Shey, old summer palace with 12 feet statue of Buddha: Thikse, the superbly situated Monastery on a hilltop overlooking the village and the Indus river and Hemis Monastery the richest and the largest Monastery of the area. Later come back to the hotel and overnight in the hotel.
Day 12: Leh - Delhi or two-day extension if you want to cover Nubra Valley
Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi. Later you will be transferred to the international airport or at the destination for an onward journey.
